I can't get over how the nose of this locomotive and a swedish model are so similar to our super chief of old. It's a nice photo. Do you think folks in Europe pay better attention to warning signs than folk in the US.

Sadly, we too have our fair share of lunatics who somehow think that their seatbelt and air-bags will protect them against a passenger train, weighing hundreds of tons, with a ravenous appetite for dumb motorists.

Top Gear had that quick little bit showing that a 5 star crash rating means absolutly nothing when a train is involved.
As to your pic I've always been so-so on the look of this loco but I like the 'tour-de-force' engineering of its power plant.
